Tuinstraat Almelo

This inner-city infill consists of a storm sewer basin topped by 12 homes with gardens and parking. The design of this contemporary housing complex provides for the incorporation of existing trees and a walking route along the river Aa. The project was recognized by the jury of the Woonprijs Twente as an example project of multiple use of space in inner-city areas.
