Paul founded the architecture firm in the 80's and has been a promoter of modern architecture from the beginning of his career. As an experienced and committed architect Paul has built up a large oeuvre of realized projects.
After his education at the AKI Art Academy in Enschede, he completed his Master of Architecture at the Academy of Architecture in Arnhem.
Besides being an independent architect, Paul has been involved with the Twente Architecture Center since its founding, where he has actively contributed to changing public opinion on architecture and the importance of spatial quality.

Ruud van der Koelen

After his HBO study in Tilburg, Ruud completed his Master of Architecture at the University of Delft.
Ruud has gained extensive experience as a designer at various offices throughout the Netherlands and has experience with development projects at various scales.
Ruud develops, designs and supervises projects from idea to realization. Ruud is point of contact for clients and building parties and uses his experience to get beautiful designs realized smoothly.
Besides being an independent architect Ruud is involved as chairman of the Twente Architecture Center where he has contributed to the realization of many projects since 2004.

Gerard van Halen

More about Gerard
Gerard started at Van der Jeugd Architecten in the late 90's with an MBO background and has developed himself over the past 25 years as an experienced architectural draftsman and BIM Modeler.
Within the office, he is the contact person in the field of technical feasibility, regulations and building codes.
Gerard is the technical conscience during the elaboration and realization of projects. When Gerard figures something out, it is right down to the last millimeter. Based on this knowledge and experience, Gerard communicates with specialists, supervises permit applications and directs construction parties during the execution of projects.

Eva Zessin
Architect / BIM Modeler / Project leader
More about Eva
Eva has a German background and completed her studies in architecture in the Netherlands. After studying engineering in Enschede she went on to study architecture at the Academy of Architecture in Arnhem.
After her studies, Eva worked at various firms and gained extensive experience in designing buildings and supervising construction processes. Eva has developed a passion for sustainable realization of contemporary buildings.
Her second passion, modern art, led her to become involved as a board member in Kunsthaven Enschede, an active artists' collective. Naturally, she also enjoys visiting museums, exhibitions and other activities related to art and culture.

For each assignment we seek an essential balance between functional requirements, aesthetic wishes, and financial constraints.
